Subreddit Rules Checklist

Tool: Subreddit Rules Checklist

• Read the sidebar rules in full, on desktop and in the app
• Read the subreddit wiki and any pinned posts or FAQ
• Check whether brands, self-promotion or links are allowed, and how often
• Look for required post flair or a weekly thread for recommendations
• Read the top posts of the past month and the past year
• Search the subreddit for your brand and your top competitors
• Note how members react when a brand rep shows up
• Note the tone: jokes, short answers, long guides, or data and specs
• Check whether moderators ask brands to message them first
• If the rules are unclear, send a short, polite message to the moderators
• Write down the one or two threads where your brand could genuinely help
